Hello all:I am working with an HP M330 access point that is giving me a lot of headache! The AP is configured as follows: Management/Untagged VLAN ID - 1 2.4 GHz radio - SSID 1: SSIDname1 Security: PSK VLAN ID: 10 SSID 2: SSIDname2 Security: MAC authentication only (no WEP/WPA security) VLAN ID: 10 5 GHz radio - SSID 1: Security: PSK VLAN ID: 10 What happens is that the AP will work fine for a day or so and then abruptly multiple wireless clients will begin experiencing very strange issues. Two wireless clients suddenly begin disconnecting and reconnecting to the AP every few minutes and other wireless clients abruptly cannot contact a DHCP server. While this is occurring, I have tried accessing the web UI of the HP M330 on VLAN 1 and have always been able to do so. The HP M330 AP is connected through a PoE injector to a D-Link DGS-1100-05 5-port smart switch which is connected in turn to two HP 2510G24-2 ProCurve smart switches. All three switches are configured to pass untagged and tagged packets on the links between the switches, and as I mentioned I have no problem accessing the web UI of the router from any wired office PC even when the wireless clients are having problems. After rebooting the AP, the wireless clients are able to connect again and work, but having to manually reboot the AP every day is not the best solution. Is there anyone who has seen problems like this before and can give me any insight into troubleshooting further? I would really appreciate help with these confounding problems! Comments are closed.
